TSH

Oggi ho ritirato l'esito della scintigrafia total body e gli esami del sangue fatti due giorni prima: il TSH era a 103 (da 0.1)! Ci credo che mi sento tanto stanca... l'anno scorso prima della terapia con iodio radioattivo era arrivato a 80, ma non ricordo di essere stata così male.
Ho ripreso la terapia sostitutiva da una settimana e sono ricominciate le vampate e la sudorazione eccessiva. A settembre devo convincere l'endocrinologa a tentare con Tiroide Amsa (pare che non provochi questa intolleranza al caldo). Qualcuno l'ha provato al posto di Eutirox (T4)? Rispondere per favore.

Today I collected WBS and blood tests results: two days before WBS TSH was 103 (from 0.1)! That's why I'm feeling so exhausted... last year before radioactive iodine therapy it was 80, but I don't remember I felt so badly.
I started hormone therapy for one week and flashes and sweats begun again.
Next September I have to convince my endo to let me try Tiroide Amsa (it seems it doesn't cause intollerance to heat). Does anybody try it instead of Eutirox (synthesis T4)? Please send a comment.

Tutto ok - All is fine

Questa mattina ho fatto la scintigrafia total body: tutto ok, sono pulita, sono guarita, non mi sembra vero. Grande euforia, mi aspetta una magnifica estate.

This morning I had my whole body scan: all is ok, I'm clean, I'm in remission, I can't believe this is true.
Great happiness, I'll have a wonderful summer.

Stanchezza - Fatigue

Manca una settimana e mezza alla scintigrafia e i sintomi da ipotiroidismo iniziano a farsi sentire: mal di testa, stanchezza pesante e crampi muscolari. Il cervello funziona ancora abbastanza bene.

In one and a half week I do total body scan and hypothyroidism symptoms started: headache, heavy fatigue and muscle spasms. Brain is still working well.

Vampate - Flashes

Dopo 7 giorni di Titre ho vampate di calore peggio di prima. Non vedo l'ora di sospendere tutto.

After 7 days of Titre I have flashes worse than before. I can't wait to stop taking hormones.

Si comincia - Let's start

Oggi ho sospeso Eutirox e ho iniziato a prendere Titre (per venti giorni); il 2 aprile sospenderò anche Titre per prepararmi alla scintigrafia total body del 22 aprile. Speriamo di non stare troppo male.

Today is my first day without Eutirox and I started to take Titre (for 20 days); on 2nd April I stop also Titre in order to be ready for whole body scan on 22nd April. Let's hope I won't be too bad.
